On-campus delivery of materials owned by Western's Libraries as well as from the world of information
resources available through interlibrary loan
- To use ACCESS / Faculty Document Delivery Service, simply register with ILLiad, our Web-based interlibrary loan system, at:
http://www.library.wwu.edu/access/ill/index.shtml. Select Click Here to Register under "New Users."
- To take advantage of ACCESS, set your notification and delivery options as indicated below.

- As soon as you click the "Submit Information" button at the bottom of the registration page you will see the ILLiad main menu and are ready to
begin making requests.
- Use these request forms to ask us for any of the research materials you need. And, there is no need to check our catalog first. Simply provide us
with a complete citation.
Our ACCESS Courier makes deliveries to departmental mailrooms daily when classes are in session. During intersessions photocopies are
mailed through campus mail and books are held for pick-up at the Haggard Circulation Desk.
- Our goal is to deliver to you books and copies of articles in journals owned by Western within two working days of processing your request.
- If a book from our collection happens to be in use, we will request it for you and deliver it as soon as it's available.
- Books requested through Summit will be delivered to your office when you choose "Document Delivery (Faculty Only)" as the Pickup Location.
Do this each time you make a Summit request.
- Requests for books and articles not available from our collections will be immediately, automatically processed as interlibrary loan requests and
delivered upon arrival.
- Materials to be placed on reserve? Wilson Library or interlibrary loan books to be returned? Call us to arrange for pick up and our ACCESS
couriers will pick these up from your department's office. Call us at 650-3076 to arrange for pick-up!
- You can also arrange to have videos needed for classroom use delivered through ACCESS by calling Media Circulation at 650-4767!
